Happy Holidays!  It has been a month to remember here at Green Guru; we are busier than ever and having more fun than ever here in Boulder.  Recently we attended the Parade of Lights on Pearl Street, dressed as robots!  You can see the pictures above.

Recently we have been exhibiting at New Belgium Tour de Fat Festivals to help educate people about recycling, upcycling and sustainable adventuring. First we went to Fort Collins, CO where there were 20,000 people on bikes! Then it was off to Denver, CO where there were 8,000 people! It is a huge bike parade, music and beer festival. A portion of each event goes to local bike non-profits helping support cycling.

We set up a booth to take tubes for upcycling and have had onsite crafting jewelry and decorations with old tubes and reflective street sign scrap. Everyone had a blast and was about to make really fun reflective stickers for their bike and helmet while reducing waste!

Very soon we will be offering these types of reflective stickers on our site too.

Come see us in SF Sept 24 and San Diego Oct 1 and make your own! Don’t forget to bring your old tubes to upcycle.
